robdobi: Cause of Death, Asylum, MA 2011.  A nice find by Rob Dobi.  “General Paralysis of the Insane” aka “General Perisis of the Insane” means death by untreated syphillis - which is probably the condition that landed this poor soul in the asylum to begin with.
